Where the verdict is. Each version below is folded, and the line beside its date is the first line of its note: that is the one that says whether the version changes how a photograph you have already adjusted will render. Open a version for the rest. Nothing here is ever installed without you accepting it.

Every photo you have already edited will render differently: dye separation is on at 100 % by default, and every thumbnail is regenerated on first launch.
Added dye separation, in the Colour block: a matrix that subtracts each dye's spill into the other two channels, so colours separate while greys and the automatic balance stay exactly where they are. Five dye families — Kodak C-41, Fuji C-41, Generic C-41, ECN-2 and E-6 — with a dose from 0 to 200 %; the family follows the mode until you pick one.

Fixed a memory leak while zooming and panning: every crossing of 100 % kept a full-resolution copy of the photo, reaching 6 GB within minutes on a scan with fifty corrections. The same photo now rests at 400 MB after the same gestures.
- Fixed the correction patches: each is now the size of its stroke instead of an 800 px tile, so fifty corrections weigh 30 MB instead of 500 and the patch cache 468 KB instead of 151 MB.
- Fixed a brief hitch on each crossing of 100 % on a photo carrying many corrections: 25 ms of GPU instead of 100.

Added a white balance measurement window: a cyan frame you place on the photo, and the automatic balance and the levels histogram read only what it holds. It follows the crop until you arm it, and travels with the framing copy and paste.

This version changes the rendering of photos that carry dust or scratch corrections: their patches are now copied pixel for pixel and come out as sharp as the area they were taken from, where they were slightly soft before, and a small correction now shows in full on the fitted preview. Nothing else moves on a photo you have already adjusted: the two new controls rest at zero until you touch them.
Corrections
A correction painted on a dust speck used to look blurred next to the grain around it, and a small one barely showed unless the photo was viewed at 100 %. Both are fixed: the patch is an exact copy of its source, and the fitted preview applies it fully whatever the brush size, cropped or turned frames included. The number of a correction now sits off the top-right of its ring instead of covering the pixels you are judging, and stays readable at any zoom. While the brush is over the picture, the system cursor hides and only the brush's circle remains.
Film fade
A new slider at the end of the Grade panel: the matte of a print that has aged. Blacks lift a little, whites come down, the highlights roll off into them, and the mid-tones stay exactly where your grade put them. It acts on the three channels alike, after the finishing balance, so very light tints set on the whites are compressed along with everything else up there.
Vignette
Also in Grade, in stops: darkens the corners of the print without shifting their colour, on an ellipse that follows your crop. Below zero it lightens them instead. The fade's floor bounds it, so a corner never falls under the faded black.
Automatic balance and flat-field
The automatic balance, the histogram under the levels and the marks shown on hover no longer see the flat-field mask: they read the frame before the correction, which is what you got by switching the mask off, clicking, and switching it back on. The picture and the output histogram keep the mask. A black point you place by hand on that histogram therefore describes the frame before the division, whose corners render a little lighter than the plot shows.
